Effective Jan 1, 2026 plastic grocery bags will be banned throughout California. Those who don’t bring their own bags will be charged $.10 per bag for a paper bag. Of course those on EBT and SNAP are exempt from the fees.

What about everything packaged in plastic in the stores? 🤔
